The unsettled and abandoned systems of the Rimward Frontier are a haven for pirates—both in-system predators and renegade JumpShip captains who transport pirate DropShips from one system to another, taking a cut of any illicit profits.


Enemy Factions

The following is a list of factions that can appear as opfor in missions while working for the Local Pirates. Additionally, while allied with the Local Pirates these factions will consider you an enemy and your reputation with them will not rise above 0:

Faction Store Inventory

Pirates do not have a faction store. A good reputation with them will make getting access to the Black Market a lot less expensive though. A list of all stores can be found here.

High reputation and the "A Pirate's Life" event chain can lead you to a special faction store at Rezak's Hole...

Starting 'Mechs

The Pirate start randomly selects one 'mech from each of the following five lists for your starting lance. A full list of starts can be found here.

Note: 'Mechs marked with an asterisk (*) are DLC exclusive and will not be included if you do not have the corresponding DLC.
