Description

The Banshee is already a budget-friendly mech for the discerning Periphery buyer and so takes well to simple budget refits. This refit of the BNC-3E swaps all the weaponry for a Chemical PPC, a Heavy Rifle with a Periphery FCS, and a trio of Small Chemical Pulse Lasers. Though the mech is entirely ammunition limited, the firepower is usually good enough to end fights before a lack of ammo does it.

Description

A Capellan variant of the Banshee, the 3L is an unusual design. It exceeds the originals speed with a supercharger, and its armament has been replaced by a Heavy Plasma Rifle and 8 Flamers that incinerate infantry, fortifications and mechs alike. Most uniquely, it features specially reinforced hand acutators that prove crushing in melee, powered by Triple Strength Myomer. The 3L is a dangerous oppnent that should be treated with caution. It has found limited accceptance with the Trinity Alliance.

Description

As the Sanctuary armies realized the potential of the Banshee, it was natural that new variants would roll out across the Sanctuary Worlds. Among them was the BNC-4D. Armed with only two weapons, they're among the largest that the Sanctuary can provide: a Double-Barrel AC/20 and a Gamma Cannon. Thanks to this combo, the Banshee has deadly firepower at any range. Four Jump Jets provide unexpected mobility while three tons of DBAC ammo keep the cannon firing.

Description

An old Inner Sphere staple assault 'Mech, the Banshee was little loved by the Sanctuary Worlds at first thanks to its poor reputation in the IS. However, Sanctuary techs quickly discovered that the Banshee's cavernous torsos were excellent for mounting weaponry and that the rugged design was easy to maintain. This endeared it to the Sanctury Worlders and they developed many variants, starting with the BNC-4E. Armed with a NPC and a Double-Barrel AC/10, as well as the standard head Small Electro-Laser, the BNC-4E proved a durable and effective assault cavalry mech.

The Sanctuary Worlds developed interesting new weapons of war in their long isolation. Part of this included experiments that didn't necessarily succeed as designed. One of those is the BNC-4L, an unusual refit that saw limited production. Description

The Sanctuary Worlds developed interesting new weapons of war in their long isolation. Some of those mechs worked out, some of them did not. Among those that did work was the BNC-4S. Built on a super-durable Endo-Carbide frame and powered by the traditional 380-rated XL engine, the -4S uses a fairly basic loadout of a Scattergun/15 and Double-Barrel AC/15 for primary firepower while a Large Modal Laser and Medium Electro-Laser play second fiddle. An ECM Suite rounds out the defensive options while 13 DHS keep it all chilly.

An upgrade of the 3S variant using Star League technology, the 5S replaces the engine with an XL Engine and uses double heat sinks to save weight, restoring its top speed to 64.8 km/h. Description

The rebirth of the Terran Hegemony brought with it a need for a restarted military sector among the core worlds of the Inner Sphere. To meet the new Hegemony's demand for material, the various corporations of the Inner Sphere got right to work on new variants for the Hegemony's war machine. One such design is the BNC-6R, a new version of the Hegemony's classic assault chassis. Armed with a Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle, as well as several Snub-Nose PPCs and Medium X-Pulse Lasers, the -6R is a worthy successor to its ancestors.

Description

Designed by the Taurian Concordat after they got a hold of a shipment of Banshee-6S mechs destined for the Steiner front lines, the -6T is a decidedly Periphery take on the Banshee. The -6T keeps the 380 rated light engine but strips out all the weapons in favor of three Heavy Rifles, three Rocket Launcher 15s, and six Medium Lasers. A single Small Laser sits in the head for good measure. The mech's heat dissipation systems, though double heat sinks, cannot cope with its prodigious heat but that was not seen as an insurmountable problem since the mech was expected to engage in heavy melee combat while cooling down.

Description

This Banshee has a true pedigree as it is the mech of Victor Vandergriff, a Solaris VII gladiator who once was a Grand Champion contender. Vandergriff and his opponent Michael Searcy were dueling for the Grand Championship when their fight breached the arena walls and triggered the Solaris Riots, often considered the flashpoint of the FedCom Civil War. Siren was reported destroyed as the riots concluded, yet here it is. Siren mounts twin ER PPCs and Medium Lasers with an LB-10X Autocannon and SRM-4 backing them. Interestingly, Siren also mounts four Jump Jets, giving it a dangerous surprise.

Description

Developed by the Magistracy of Canopus during the leadup to the War of 3039, the Banshee BNC-3MC is a refit of the venerable BNC-3E. The -3MC drops the AC/5 and five heat sinks in order to mount an AC/10 with two total tons of ammo. This gives the Banshee much more close-range punch and proved an unexpected danger in the War of 3039.
