Description
Marketed to units with minimal logistics support who need indiscriminate firepower, the Warhammer 2K is designed with rugged durability and ease of maintenance in mind. Each arm is fitted with a chemical PPC, but designed to accommodate many other weapons in case the need to field retrofit arises. The shoulder is fitted with the largest Gyrojet launcher available, adapted to feed the more commonly found LRM ammunition. Finally, a Periphery TAG unit is equipped in an attempt to aid some precision to the relatively inaccurate loadout. All of this is protected by Heavy Plating for improved durability.

Description
The Capellan Confederation's entry into the Warhammer field, the -4L makes use of Stealth Armor, the tonnage for which is provided by an XL engine. A pair of ER PPCs, four Medium Pulse Lasers and an SSRM-6 round out the -4L's weapons, though a lack of heat sinks means that it will rapidly overheat in prolonged combat.

Description
The Sanctuary Worlds developed many new technologies during their centuries of isolation including numerous new weapons. Included is the mighty Gamma Cannon, which deals as much damage as an Inner Sphere Gauss Rifle without ammunition or explosive components. The WHM-5G was designed to carry two of these powerful weapons into battle. For backup, it carries only a paltry two Medium Modal Lasers, but rarely is anything else necessary. 18 Sanctuary DHS keep it all mostly frosty while a Sanctuary XL provides the weight for the heavy cannons.

Description
The Warhammer, famously, was based on the much older, ballistic-based, Hammerhands. The Sanctuary Worlds remembered this ancient link and created a Warhammer to honor its history, the -5H. Armed with a pair of gigantic Scattergun/20s (and only two paltry Medium Electro-Lasers for backup) the -5H is capable of shredding through just about anything in one volley. 5 tons of ammo keep the guns firing while 13 DHS do their best to keep it cold. While it honored the mech's history, the -5H did not perform well and was not favored by the Sanctuary armies.

Description
A classic heavy mech of the Terran Hegemony, the Sanctuary Worlds kept the Warhammer in service and eventually upgraded it to the new -5R standard. Armed with the traditional grab-bag of weapons, the WHM-5R is a classic and solid trooper design. With a pair of powerful Neutrino Projector Cannons for primary firepower and with a pair of Medium Electro-Lasers and Gatling Guns as well as a DRM-6 for support fire the WHM-5R is more than capable of crushing anything in its path. A battery of DHS and Heat Negators keep it all cold while Endo-Steel provides the necessary tonnage.

Description
Designed as a combat engineering mech, the Warhammer WHM-5S was created to control and direct the flow of combat on Sanctuary battlefields. Armed with a pair of Directed X-Ray Cannons for primary firepower and backed up by a Large Lance and an APM-4, the -5S is more than capable of controlling the field. In an odd twist, it uses a Dense Engine for speed and survivability, ensuring that the -5S is the last man standing in difficult battles.

Description
An alteration of the 6R model introduced in 2835, the 6D removed the machine guns and the SRM-6 launcher to add an additional four tons of armor to the design, increasing its leg protection, as well as two more heat sinks. The 6D was particularly favored by the Federated Suns.

Description
Another basic modification to the Warhammer, the 6K was favored by the Draconis Combine after its introduction in 2830. The 6K removed the machine guns and their volatile ammunition to make room for two heat sinks, allowing it to more easily dissipate waste heat from its PPCs.

Description
Is there any mech as iconic or as deadly as the humble Warhammer? We here at Periphery Armory, believe that everyone should own a Warhammer or 10. Iconic, deadly and inexpensive to boot, our new WHM-6PA is everything you need in a heavy mech and cheaper than a packet of chips, to boot. Ripping out the expensive PPC’s and much of the extraneous heat sinks, we instead mount 4 of our patented Large Lasers (Chemical) and enough ammo to last any fire fight. Backing this potent quad, is a single Rocket Launcher 20 and our patented Heavy Plating; offering substantial increases in protection over other armor brands. With the fire power of an Awesome and the durability of a Stalker, our new Warhammer really puts the War back into the Warhammer.

Description
The Warhammer BattleMech was introduced by StarCorps Industries in 2515 to be "a mobile 'Mech with enough firepower to destroy or severely damage any 'Mech of the same weight class or lower." In the mission it was designed for, the Warhammer proved to be a very capable 'Mech, and for centuries practically defined the entire class of heavy 'Mechs. Boasting incredible firepower and respectable armoring, the Warhammer served prominently in the Star League Defense Force and was one of the premier 'Mechs in the Gunslinger Program. Indeed, many of the greatest MechWarriors in history were Warhammer pilots.

Description
A rare refit of the WHM-6R, the WHM-6R-DC simple drops the design's superfluous Small Lasers in exchange for a Command Console, granting much improved battlefield command functionality to the Warhammer. Otherwise, the design closely resembles the WHM-6R that has served so long and well in Inner Sphere armies.

Description
A rare Star League-era Kuritan upgrade of the venerable Warhammer, the WHM-6Rk is an excellent design and brings the Warhammer into its own in a way the original couldn't manage to do. Powered by a 350-rated XL fusion engine and kept cold by 15 double heat sinks, the -6Rk's weaponry matches the originals: two each PPCs, Medium and Small Lasers, and Machine Guns with an SRM-6 for extra support. However, with 3 more tons of armor and much better heat sinking, the -6Rk is clearly the superior machine. A few of these remain in service with House Kurita even into the modern era.

Description
Made by ComStar to hold the line at Tukayyid, the WHM-7CS proved extremely adept at holding the line. Armed with twin ER PPCs, quad Medium Lasers, and a trio of Streak SRM-2s, the -7CS could hold the line against just about anything and did so repeatedly. The rugged design proved so able that ComStar continued refits to the design after Tukayyid and placed them in just about every major ComGuard formation throughout the Inner Sphere.

Description
Crafted by a think tank for Achernar Battlemechs, the Warhammer-7H looks back at one of Achernar's earliest designs: the Hammerhands. Built to a similar profile, the -7H was designed around a pair of powerful Rotary Autocannon/5s for primary firepower with a SRM 4, 2 ER Medium Lasers, and a Small Laser for backup. To accommodate all this weaponry and the mech's 13 tons of armor, the -7H is powered by a cutting-edge Light Fusion Engine and an Endo-Steel frame. Finally, to fully emulate its progenitor, the -7H has four jump jets for maneuverability.

This House Kurita variant was built on an Endo Steel skeleton. It carried ER PPCs, two medium lasers, and two small pulse lasers. The SRM-6 was replaced by a pair of Streak SRM-2 launchers, while a TAG system allowed the 7K to spot for friendly artillery units.

Description
The 7M variant was introduced as the official upgraded variant of the Warhammer for the Free Worlds League. Built on a Standard chassis and engine, the 7M carried eighteen double heat sinks to handle the waste heat generated by its two ER PPCs. Backing up these were two medium lasers in the side torsos and a SRM-6 launcher over the right shoulder. A machine gun was carried in the right torso, while the left mounted an Anti-Missile System. One ton of machine gun rounds were carried in the center torso, while one ton of missile reloads were carried in the right.

Description
The 7M variant was introduced as the official upgraded variant of the Warhammer for the Free Worlds League. The Free Worlds League fairly quickly realized a need for more command-specific variants and turned to the -7M for their needs. The -7M-DC drops the AMS and one Medium Laser from the base model as well as reducing the Machine Gun ammo by half in order to fit a Command Console. Otherwise, it is the same as the -7M.

Description
The rebirth of the Terran Hegemony brought with it a need for a restarted military sector among the core worlds of the Inner Sphere. To meet the new Hegemony's demand for material, the various corporations of the Inner Sphere got right to work on new variants for the Hegemony's war machine. One such design is the WHM-7R, a simple yet effective brawler for the Terran Hegemony Armed Forces. Built on a 280-rated Light Fusion Engine with 19 DHS for cooling, the -7R uses twin Snub-Nose PPCs for primary firepower, backed up by two each Medium and Small X-Pulse Lasers. For highly accurate firepower, the -7R carries a Streak SRM-6.

Description
The 7S Warhammer was the official upgraded version built for the Federated Commonwealth. Built out of their Sudeten factory, the 7S retained the medium lasers of the original but updated the rest of the weaponry. It carried two arm-mounted ER PPCs, two medium pulse lasers in the side torsos, and two Streak SRM-2 launchers in place of the SRM-6 launcher. Eighteen double heat sinks handled the additional waste heat and one ton of reloads for the Streak launchers was carried in the center torso.

Description
Warhammers have been in service to armies throughout the Inner Sphere and even the Periphery for centuries and have seen many, many refits. One such refit is the -7PA. Built around two Chemical PPCs, the -7PA is a perfectly adept combat design but truly shines against lightly armored targets where its four Small Chem Lasers and two Machine Guns really come into their own. For longer ranges, the solitary Gyrojet-20 proves effective, if temporary.

Description
Considered one of the flagships of Project Phoenix, the Warhammer -8D has been spread across the entire Inner Sphere to as many manufacturers possible. Hewing to the standard Warhammer mold, it is armed with a pair each of ER PPCs, ER Medium Lasers and ER Small Lasers, while also utilizing an SSRM6. A C3 Slave and enough heat sinks to reliably sink the heat from continuously firing the ER PPCs means that the -8D is a threat on the battlefield until it's forced to retire.

Description
The WHM-8R uses a pair of Magna Firestar ERPPCs with matching PPC capacitors in the long range bracket, with heat that is barely contained by even the Radical Heat Sink System. In medium range it has a quartet of Diplan M3-XR ER Medium Lasers, and in short range it uses twin Hovertec Streak SRM4 mounted on the shoulders, making the -8R a viable threat at any range. A Light Fusion Engine and plenty of heat sinks provide power and cooling.

Description
Taking the concept of the 6D even further, the 9D was built in the 3060s on an Endo Steel chassis and used an XL engine to upgrade the maximum speed to 86 km/h. The 'Mech carried thirteen and a half tons of armor and was armed with two ER PPCs and two ER medium lasers. The 'Mech's weapons were all linked to an advanced Targeting Computer, allowing the Warhammer to direct its firepower with uncanny accuracy. Finally, it carries jump jets to surprise the enemy with, guaranteeing it always has the drop on the OpFor.

Description
The 9S Warhammer utilized one of the latest pieces of technology from the Lyran Alliance when it was introduced. The 'Mech was built using a light fusion engine, which weighed seventy five percent of the weight of a normal fusion engine. The 'Mech uses this saved weight to add two additional heat sinks and upgraded the heat sinks to doubles. The 'Mech carried two ER PPCs and two ER medium lasers and a Streak SRM-6 launcher. It was also well protected with thirteen tons of armor.

Description
This Warhammer may have once belonged to Natasha Kerensky, also known as the Black Widow. If it did or not is unclear, though someone has scratched the symbol of a spider into the command console, which just fuels the speculation. What we do know is that the Black Widow, as it's called, is a powerful and brutal Warhammer. Twin ER PPCs provide heavy firepower at range while twin Medium Pulse Lasers and a SRM-6 offer good up-close damage. Rounding out the firepower is a rather odd set of four Machine Guns. It's not clear why Kerensky would have wanted or needed these, but here they are anyway.

Description
A Clan-tech retrofit of the venerable Warhammer intended for second-line and solahma troops, this variant did not alter the 'Mech's structural components but replaced most of the Inner Sphere-tech weaponry of the original WHM-6R with Clan equivalents. The PPCs were replaced with Large Pulse Lasers, the SRM-6 was upgraded to a Streak SRM-6, and all of the lasers were upgraded to ER Medium and ER Small Lasers. Only the machine guns were not replaced with Clan-tech models.

Description
A further Clan-tech retrofit of the venerable Warhammer intended for second-line and solahma troops, this variant is a further refit of the Warhammer C that previously existed in the Clan toumans. The Warhammer C 2 refits all the weapons to their Clan equivalents while upgrading the heat sinks to, admittedly Inner Sphere grade, Double Heat Sinks. The C 2 remains a solahma and second-line variant and thanks to the low armor is something of a deathtrap.

Description
A Golden Century refit popular with Wolf's Dragoons, this Warhammer was rebuilt from the ground up with Clan technology. Built using an endo steel internal structure and XL engine, the C 3 has plenty of space for weapons and heat sinks. An ER PPC is carried in each arm. Both side torsos carry an ER Medium Laser, a Medium Pulse Laser, and a Streak SRM-6. An ECM Suite protects this variant, while a Targeting Computer makes the already fearsome weaponry even more dangerous. 17 double heat sinks cannot keep the 'Mech cool unless the pilot fires either its long range or short range weapons.

Description
Rasalhague mercenaries fighting on behalf of the Taurian Concordat first encountered this mech in 3063 on Hellespont. The Bleak March campaign (as it later became known) saw ultimate victory for the Concordat, but not before substantial losses for local and third party forces. So-named 'Draugr' for the undead Norse revenant of myth, this Warhammer’s pilot was never identified due to the Sanctuary Worlds’ use of drone units. Draugr quickly gained notoriety not only for its savage prowess in skirmish warfare, but also for its continued and troubling reappearance after suffering complete chassis destruction on at least four separate recorded engagements across the span of six months. Mechwarriors learned to fear the high-pitched whine of its bombards arcing out of the mists, which signaled that doubled volleys of neutrino cannon and gatling fire were not far behind – followed by the horror that not even death could claim its unknown pilot, and that Draugr’s eventual reappearance was almost guaranteed.
