Description
While the Great Houses often rid themselves of aging chassis, the STK-4P was an unusual exception. Due to the age of the frame, the -4P had to be reduced from 85 tons to 75 tons, but the Stalker frame was so effective that the Great Houses refused to discard the design entirely, instead updating it with modern technologies for maximum effectiveness. The STK-4A is one such update and is a take on the traditional Stalker STK-3F. Armed with two each LRM-10s and SRM-6s, all equipped with Artemis IV, the -4A has weapons for any circumstance. For ammo-free firepower it can call on two Large Pulse Lasers and a solitary centerline ER Medium Laser. 14 DHS try to keep it cool but pilots are advised to avoid excessive alpha strikes. A 225-rated Light Fusion Engine provides mobility, though the -4A is somewhat sluggish.

Description

Due to the age of the frame, the -4P had to be reduced from 85 tons to 75 tons, but the Stalker frame was so effective that the Great Houses refused to discard the design entirely, instead updating it with modern technologies for maximum effectiveness. The STK-4M is one such update. Armed with twin MML-9s (using Artemis IV for accuracy) as well as triple ER Large Lasers guarantees that the STK-4M is highly effective in any circumstance. 16 double heat sinks and an upgraded 300-rated XL engine ensures it can get around easily and stay in the fight as long as necessary.

Description
The Stalker STK-4P might have been regarded as a failure in the Inner Sphere, but the Periphery appreciated acquiring cheap Stalkers from IS forces selling the aged chassis. The -4PAM is one such updated design. Armed with a RL-40 with an attached ammo feed, as well as two Gyrojet-20s also with ammo feeds, the -4PAM is capable of tremendous volleys of missiles. For backup, it also carries two Large Chem Lasers. 19 heat sinks, 5 of which are Freezer DHS, keeps the mech very cool in most circumstances.

Description
Due to ongoing structural weakness issues with the aging Stalker chassis, it was necessary to reduce the load by 10 tons by removing a LRM launcher effectively reclassifying this variant as a Heavy 'Mech.

Description
The Stalker STK-4P proved popular with pilots, even if not with mechanics, and refits of the venerable chassis were inevitable. The STK-SB is one such refit. Armed with a MRM-30 with Apollo and a Binary PPC with multiple advanced tech systems attached, the Stalker STK-SB is a simple yet effective design.
