Description
Designed as a rapid reaction Heavy Killer, the ZEU-3SK was meant to fill the need of Periphery States requiring an assault that could provide enough of a punch to put down any aggressive pirate leader, and enough speed to get to where the fight was needed. Armed with a dual-purpose loadout, a Medium Rifle and trio of Medium Lasers provide consistent firepower as a Flamer defends against pesky infantry. However, for close-range punch, the ZEU-3SK carries a Reloading RL 40 and a Heavy Cannon, as well as four Jump Jets to ensure it can get behind enemies with the one-shot weapons. In the end the ZEU-3SK was not very successful, being compared to the far more reliable and longer lasting Victor, and fell out of favor.

The most recent of Periphery Armory, Inc's many designs to hit the market, the ZEU-6PA is a hell and a half to deal with. A Heavy Rifle and Medium Cannon combo, the old PAI Special, do solid work early in engagements. A Rocket Launcher-15 gives solid burst potential on top of the Cannon. Description
While the Large Binary Laser, or Blazer, has been a known technology for decades, the other Binary Lasers are relatively new. To test them out, the Zeus ZEU-7PA was produced for various Periphery powers. Armed with the standard LRM and AC combo of the standard ZEU-6S the design diverges by making use of three Improved Medium Binary Lasers and an Improved Small Binary Laser, giving the -7PA an excellent point-blank punch.

Description
The ZEU-6Y was much maligned in its day and was relegated to the dustbin of history. However, it wasn't forgotten by everyone. A small mech refit facility in the Free Worlds League rediscovered the design and decided to upgrade it with modern technology. The Binary Laser Cannon was kept but in the place of the other weapons are a Gauss Rifle and a LRM-15, both with two tons of ammo. A TAG and Laser AMS give the design some interesting tactical options on the battlefield. Double heat sinks and a Light Fusion Engine keep the mech running and cool.

Description
The 9S2 was a modified version of the 9S. The armor and twelve double heat sinks of original were retained, but the engine was changed to an XL. A Gauss Rifle took the place of the ER PPC while the right arm carried a pair of LRM-15s. Though the extended range laser was kept, the medium pulse lasers had to be removed to provide enough space for the modifications.

Description
The 9T variant of the Zeus was introduced in 3062 just prior to the civil war and carried the 6T to its next logical step. The 'Mech was built with a Light Fusion Engine and carried thirteen and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor. As its primary weapon, the 9T carried an ER PPC, backed by an LRM-15 launcher with an Artemis IV fire control system for greater missile accuracy and twice as much ammunition capacity. Also, for long-range combat, the 9T carried an ER Large Laser, while for close combat the 'Mech was armed with two Medium Pulse Lasers and an ER Medium Laser.

Description
There are a few different approaches you can take when outfitting an 80-ton walking engine of destruction. Most MechWarriors tend to either prioritize armor or weaponry. One particularly talented Lyran pilot, however, took a very unconventional approach and used his nearly-preternatural piloting skills inside the cockpit of his assigned ZEU-6S. Named "Skokomish" after his ancestral Native American tribe on Terra, the pilot dubbed Sealth gained incredible respect for his ability to harass the enemy while dodging their return fire, and distracting the opfor from the line of Atlases plodding over the hill. Sealth returned to his home planet after his tour of duty, taking Skokomish with him. It's unknown if this particular 'Mech is the actual Skokomish, but pilots since have invested unknown millions of C-Bills in an attempt to even partially recreate the skill of its original owner.
