Description
In the 3060s, ComStar and the Terran Hegemony found themselves in need of a new line combat heavy BattleMech. Drawing on theoretical mock-ups from ComStar's Star League archives, they developed a heavy version of the venerable Crab BattleMech. To respect the lineage between the Crab and the assault-weight King Crab, this new chassis was named the Prince Crab. The Prince Crab is built on an Endo-Composite frame with a standard 300-rated fusion engine for power. For firepower the PRC-4B carries twin LB-10X Autocannons, backed up by four torso-mounted ER Medium Lasers and a solitary ER Small Laser. 10 DHS don't quite manage the heat while four tons of CASE II protected ammunition ensure the guns never stop firing.

For firepower the PRC-4G uses a Silver Bullet Gauss Rifle at range to pepper enemies, while a Bombast Laser and trio of ER Medium Lasers keep closer ranges clear of foes. 14 DHS keep it all frosty while two tons of SB Gauss ammo keep the gun firing.

The Prince Crab is built on an Endo-Composite frame with a standard 300-rated fusion engine for power. For firepower the PRC-5A uses a mammoth Long Tom Artillery Cannon to smash foes into paste. Backing up the cannon are a pair of ER Large Lasers that largely seem like afterthoughts. Three tons of CASE II protected ammo is just about enough for most engagements.

Description
After the Prince Crab's debut, the Hegemony Institute of Strategic Combat decided to make use of the chassis for a weapon testing platform, specifically to test the newly-developed Hyper Laser. Armed with a HISC Hyper Laser, as well as two standard SRM-6s for close-range backup, the PRC-5X proved a deadly combatant. Plentiful heat management gear combined with a Guardian ECM and sturdy armor keeps the -5X functional in all environments while CASE II ensures the design is durable even against ammunition explosions.

Description
Shortly after the Prince Crab's introduction by the Terran Hegemony, a theft was registered of one of the newly produced chassis from the factory. A few months later, an unnamed gladiator started using a Prince Crab in the arenas of Solaris VII. This Prince Crab, named Heir Apparent by its pilot, featured eight Medium X-Pulse Lasers to slice apart opponents with ease while two BattleMech Claws, enhanced further by Triple Strength Myomer, rended them limb from limb. Hegemony security forces attempted to apprehend the suspected thief but neither him nor his mech were ever captured and continued to appear in the arenas in the following years.
