Description
The Valkyrie has as its primary armament a LRM-10 launcher with one ton of reloads mounted in the left torso. While an unusual weapon on a light 'Mech, it gives the Valkyrie a long reach and respectable damage, especially against other light 'Mech hunters. As a back-up weapon the Valkyrie carries a Medium Laser in its right arm.

Description
The QD Valkyrie is a major overhaul of the design debuting in 3049. The chassis has been re-engineered to use Endo Steel construction and the armor has been upgraded to Ferro-Fibrous with CASE. This allowed the variant to update the laser to a Medium Pulse Laser and add an Artemis IV fire control system to the LRM-10.

Description
Developed in partnership with Vicore Industries and debuting in the 3060s, the VLK-QD1 is a substantial overhaul of the chassis. Powered with a 150-rated XL engine and built on an endo-steel skeleton, the QD1 manages to pack in an ER Medium Laser and a LRM-15. Both are connected to a Targeting Computer for maximum effectiveness. Double Heat Sinks keep it all chilly while 5 jump jets and 6 tons of armor provide plenty of staying power.

Description
Introduced in the 3060s as part of the deal with Vicore Industries that led to the QD1, the QD3 upgrades the engine to a 210-rated fusion engine to boost the ground speed to 119km/h. Armed with twin ER Medium Lasers and a LRM-5 and equipped with ferro-fibrous armor and 6 jump jets, the QD3 proved an effective light skirmisher.

Description
Produced as an experimental refit of the VLK-QD1, the -QD7 was intended to showcase the newly developed Extended LRM system. The -QD7's Endo-Steel frame and 150-rated XL engine provided just enough weight for two ELRM-5s and a solitary backup ER Medium Laser. Unfortunately, the increased weight of the weapons necessitated the loss of the Valkyrie's traditional jump jets but with the increase to range from the ELRMs this was deemed an acceptable trade-off.

Description
The QF model of the Valkyrie was the only common variant of the 'Mech during the Succession Wars. First fielded in 2967, it trades in the medium laser for a Flamer. This allows the 'Mech to work in an incendiary role and also acts as an excellent deterrent to infantry attacks.

Description
The Valkyrie is the mech that gave rise to light fire support designs, what with its battle-tested LRM-10 and good maneuverability. In the Periphery, the LRM-10 was often replaced with a Gyrojet-20 with an attached ammo feed, which nearly doubles the firepower of the LRM-10. In the arm it carries a Medium and a Small Laser, for when the Gyrojet runs out of ammo, which it does fairly quickly.

Description
Created by a Free Worlds League engineer who discovered the extinct Jackrabbit BattleMech and decided to resurrect it in spirit, the VLK-QQ carries an unusual loadout for a Valkyrie: an Ultra Autocannon/2 provides the long-range punch while a Streak SRM-2 gives some close-range defense. To carry the Ultra though, the -QQ was forced to carry an XL Engine, which combined with its low speed makes it rather fragile for a light mech. The FWL considered it an acceptable trade-off though and the QQ can be found in their armed forces in small numbers.

Description
This Valkyrie has been modified and updated throughout the decades as the ancestral mech of your family in the Federated Suns. Owing to the Davion obession with ballistics, this Valkyrie has been outfitted with an 150-rated XL Engine and Endo-Steel bonus in order to mount a Light Autocannon/5 in the right arm. Backing up the LAC/5 is the traditional Valkyrie LRM-10 as well as a Medium Laser. With a ton of ammo for each weapon, the VLK-AM is more than capable of laying down effective fire support.

Description
In search of a cheap option to help handle dissidant uprisings among the newly conquered populations of the Marian Hegemony, the Marian Senate authorized the Valkyrie VLK-2H program. Taking advantage of the sheer rate the 30-ton Valkyrie was produced in, Marian agents would start offering open bounties for any chassis no matter how wrecked. These damaged frames would be shipped back to Horatius where Marian Arms Incorporated Mech Techs would coat it's structure in a Proto-Endosteel sheath in a process similar to electroplating and clad the Mech in Light Plating Armor. In order to best put down rioting civilians, the VLK-2H's main weapon was a Marian-produced Medium Revolving Rifle fed by two tons of ammo, backed up by a pair of Rocket Launcher 15s one of which would often be loaded with Inferno Warheads to ensure any dissidents learn their lesson.
