Description
Defiance Industries designed the Yeager as a dedicated testing platform for weaponry, specifically their Experimental Assault Gauss Rifle (the progenitor to the Heavy Gauss Rifle). Original testing showed the ExAGR had severe downsides, causing Defiance to move towards the Heavy Gauss Rifle for wider production. However, Defiance didn't fully abandon the ExAGR and purpose built a platform for it. The Yeager is built around a torso cockpit and a 280-rated Light Fusion Engine for power. For backup weaponry, the Yeager mounts an ER PPC and a quartet of Magshots. Four jump jets give it extra positioning ability. The Yeager saw minimal production but just enough to distribute to elite Lyran regiments for field testing.
