Description

The Stone Rhino was one of the most remarkable surprises sprung upon the Inner Sphere by the invading Clans. Bringing awesome firepower, these machines cannot be used effectively by commanders because they cannot afford to lose one. The Stone Rhino made use of eighteen tons of standard armor. It could jump up to ninety meters in one bound. The design featured Large Pulse Lasers in each arm, twin Gauss Rifles mounted behind flip-open circular firing ports on each side torso, and an almost superfluous Small Pulse Laser located above the cockpit.

Description

The Stone Rhino was one of the most remarkable surprises sprung upon the Inner Sphere by the invading Clans. Bringing awesome firepower, these machines cannot be used effectively by commanders because they cannot afford to lose one. The Stone Rhino made use of eighteen tons of standard armor. In order to plug holes in their touman, Clan Goliath Scorpion scientists revisited the Behemoth. This version used an XL Engine to mount a pair of Gauss Rifles along the top of the Mech. Each arm carried a Heavy Large Laser, a pair of Heavy Medium Lasers, and a Heavy Small Laser. A head-mounted Anti-Missile System defended against missiles. This design had jump jets, nineteen tons of armor, and a meager sixteen double heat sinks.

Description

Bringing awesome firepower, these machines cannot be used effectively by commanders because they cannot afford to lose one. The Stone Rhino STR-3 is an upgraded variant developed by Clan Hell's Horses. Armed with quad Large Pulse Lasers as well as twin ATM 9s and ER Micro Lasers, the STR-3 is a deadly machine. An XL engine provides the weight for the equipment, which includes three jump jets for maximum maneuverability.

Description

While the Stone Rhino normally serves as a powerful fire platform, the STR-4 mixes things up as a weapon testbed design by Clan Smoke Jaguar. Using an XL Engine for weight saving, the Stone Rhino STR-4 mounts a withering array of weaponry: quad LRM-10s, quad ER Medium Lasers, quad Machine Guns, and a pair of Ultra AC/10s. A trio of jump jets allow the mech to surprise its targets with unexpected mobility. However, the design is terribly crippled with standard heat sinks, relegating it to the worst equipped for Clan garrison forces.

Description

The Stone Rhino was one of the most remarkable surprises sprung upon the Inner Sphere by the invading Clans. Bringing awesome firepower, these machines cannot be used effectively by commanders because they cannot afford to lose one. The Stone Rhino made use of eighteen tons of standard armor. A design based off of early specifications for Amaris's Folly, the Stone Rhino 5 uses a 400XL engine to reach speeds up up to 64.8kph. It is armed with four LB-5X Autocannons mounted in the torsos backed up by six ER Medium Lasers in the arms.

A close combat design based on the Stone Rhino 5, sharing the XL 400 engine while being clad in Ferro-Fibrous armor, the Stone Rhino 6 is armed with a simple yet effective loadout of 14 Medium Pulse Lasers. These are backed up by a single ER Small Laser.

Description

Aleksandra Horn, a Clan Ghost Bear MechWarrior, was disappointed during her Clan's return to the Inner Sphere and with how seemingly easy the Inner Sphere MechWarriors were to defeat. However, after a humiliating defeat by a Solaris-trained mech jock, she trialed for the right to take her Stone Rhino to the Game World and face these 'few honorable IS pilots'. After winning her trial, she made it to Solaris VII where her Fire Horn became a feared opponent in the arenas. Armed with Plasma Cannons and Mortar/4s as well as a massive battery of Rockets, the Fire Horn shuts down its opponents then decimates them in one blast.

Description

Quincy 'Chumbucket' Reiter always had connections: if you needed it, you could get it from him. However, even his luck ran out, as it did at the Battle of Huntress where his Crusader failed him and he was presumed lost in combat. Somehow, he survived and even scavenged together a Stone Rhino from the corpse of the Smoke Jaguars. Ending up on Solaris VII, his Sesroneos might be slow but it hits like a train thanks to its twin Heavy Gauss Rifles and experimental PPCs, all tied to advanced fire control systems. The thick armor ensures Sesroneos is always the one to overthrow his opponents, no matter how secure their position might seem.
