Description

Created originally by Stefan Amaris during the Amaris Civil War, the Screamer was an experimental Land-Air Mech that was shelved due to perceived flaws and the only known prototype was destroyed in the fighting for Terra. However, this was not the full story. In fact, a distant research outpost in the RWR had a small stockpile of Screamers that were undergoing testing. The outpost was abandoned during the war but the Rim Worlds Republic rediscovered it and restored the outpost, and its minor assembly line, to operation and put the Screamers found within into service in the 3060s.

Enables AirMech mode. While in AirMech mode: take 10% more damage, stability threshold -40, 100% faster walk speed, +0.2 sprint, ignore terrain and landmines for movement, 360 degree firing arc

Description

After the Rim Worlds Republic put the Screamer back into service, they quickly developed several field refits for the chassis. It was discovered that the Screamer had excellent capacity for externally mounted bombs and so the Rim Collection Militia focused on such for their refits. The SCR-2X-LAM swaps the ER PPC of the -1X for a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers and a Small Pulse Laser. It uses the extra freed weight to mount two more bombs, up to a total of six. By default, the SCR-2X-LAM mounts four Rocket Pods, a FASCAM Bomb, and a Fuel-Air Bomb.

Description

Created originally by Stefan Amaris during the Amaris Civil War, the Screamer was an experimental Land-Air Mech that was shelved due to perceived flaws and the only known prototype was destroyed in the fighting for Terra. However, the RWR survived and so did the Screamer, returning at last in the 3050s in very small numbers. This variant, the SCR-1A-LAM, uses two newly developed weapons from the RWR's best military minds: the Shredder Machine Gun and the Atom Smasher/10. With these weapons, nothing can resist the Screamer's assault.
