Description
The Raiden is the Draconis Combine's take on the IS Standard Battle Armor. Representing an improvement on the original design, first production began in 3050 after the Combine's stunning success in the Battle of Wolcott netted them a prize of twenty-four Elemental battle suits from Clan Smoke Jaguar. Unlike the early models of the Inner Sphere Standard, this prototype had both decent ground speed and jump capability as well as the fearsome Tsunami Heavy Gauss Rifle, featuring a unique penetrating round capable of doing horrendous damage to other Battle Armor.
