The Gauss Capacitor, despite its name, is not actually an additional bank of capacitors, it's a complex assemblage of software and hardware tweaks that overhauls the effectiveness of mounted Gauss weaponry. When properly installed and online the Gauss Capacitor provides an increase to damage and to range with all Gauss-class weaponry. However, it is fragile and prone to explosions if damaged during operation. VOLATILE: Explodes for 50 damage.
