Description
Based on an old Star League design named the Sling, the Capellan-built Duan Gung also likely shares its roots with the Clan OmniMech, the Mist Lynx, as it shares many qualities with that chassis and the Mist Lynx was also likely based on the Sling. The Duan Gung is a light fire support design, intended to bring missile fire to the battlefield quickly and cheaply. It is built on a 175-rated XL engine and has an Endo-Steel frame for extra weight savings. For firepower it carries two each SRM-4s and Medium Lasers while 6 jump jets ensure it can easily get its weaponry into range without issue.
