Description
Originally a Star League design and long thought lost to the Inner Sphere, the Shogun survived as a rare design in Clan second-line forces and in the Wolf's Dragoons when they arrived in the Inner Sphere and was one of the designs that created questions about the origins of the Dragoons. The Shogun is an excellent fire support design, built on a 255-rated fusion engine and armed with a PPC, twin LRM-15s, and twin SRM-6s. A trio of jump jets keep the design mobile in any environment while CASE protects the ammunition bins and 17 standard heat sinks keep the design's heat under control, assuming a light trigger finger.

The Shogun is an excellent fire support design, built on a 255-rated fusion engine and standard bones. The SHG-2H is the original high-tech Star League version, armed with an ER PPC, twin LRM-15s with Artemis IV, a quartet of Streak SRM-2s, and both a Medium and Medium Pulse Laser. 13 DHS keep it all cooled while three jump jets ensure the design is flexible in all situations.

Description
After decades of struggles, Wolf's Dragoons finally managed to make a contract in the 3040s with the reborn Terran Hegemony in order to bring the Shogun back into production. After several decades of production of the original variants, the Hegemony eventually produced this, the SHG-3H. Built on a 255-rated Light Fusion Engine (supplied by the Dragoons) and equipped with both DHS and jump jets, the -3H uses a similar loadout to the standard Shogun: two LRM racks, 20s this time, and an ER PPC for ranged fire while two Medium Pulse Lasers cover the close ranges. The SHG-3H was a rapid hit and entered service both with the THAF and the Dragoons.
