Description
The Brigand is a BattleMech that is surrounded by a sea of controversy as it is the first 'Mech to be produced by a pirate band, namely Lady Death Trevaline's band in the Tortuga Dominions. Despite the low origins, the Brigand uses high technology and is a threatening mech to encounter. The LDT-1's brace of ER and Pulse Medium Lasers, fueled by double heat sinks and good speed thanks to a 150-rated engine and six jump jets, means that the Brigand punches well above its weight. The only real weakness of the Brigand is the rather poor 4 tons of armor.

Description
The Brigand is a BattleMech that is surrounded by a sea of controversy as it is the first 'Mech to be produced by a pirate band, namely Lady Death Trevaline's band in the Tortuga Dominions. Despite the low origins, the Brigand uses high technology and is a threatening mech to encounter. Something of a quick strike version of the Brigand, the X2 removes the two Medium Pulse Lasers and replaces them with four Rocket Launcher 15s. These give the 'Mech an astounding amount of firepower in one shot making it a serious threat to other light 'Mechs when encountered.
