Description

A purely experimental weapons platform, the Hyperion Superheavy BattleMech was designed in concert by a number of members of various Clan scientist castes. Somehow, using the cutting edge science available to them, the Clan scientists managed to produce a viable superheavy chassis, the first since the Matar centuries before. Like that ancient design, the Hyperion uses a combo of energy and gauss weapons, specifically a pair each of Clan-spec ER PPCs and Heavy Large Lasers, while a pair of IS-spec Heavy Gauss Rifles back them up. The Hyperion's 375 rated experimental XXL Engine keep it moving a respectable speed and the nearly maxed armor keep it in the thick of things no matter what.
