Description
The Exterminator did not endure the fall of the Star League cleanly. In fact, the design was widely considered extinct after the First Succession War. However, in 3007 Kallon Industries discovered blueprints for the Exterminator and put them into limited production as a replacement for the aging Wolverine. Powered by 325-rated standard fusion engine, the EXT-4A mounted a similar weapon loadout to the original, though it replaced the AMS with a Machine Gun. It was considered a failure and Kallon eventually shelved the design, though it can still be found among backwater Marik militias rarely.

Description
The Exterminator was designed for one goal: assassination. Armed with a simple loadout centered around Medium Lasers and a LRM-10, the Exterminator stood out because it didn't stand out thanks to its integrated Null Signature System and Chameleon Light Polarization Shield stealth technologies. Though these systems are incredibly heat intensive, they give the Exterminator incredible protection on the battlefield and let it close with its targets in safety. Combined with a 390-rated XL engine, the Exterminator can get in, kill quickly, and escape easily.

The EXT-4Db is the variant assigned to the Star League's Royal Regiments and focuses on an all-energy loadout for supply line independence. It keeps the high ground speed while heavily increasing the armor for extra survivability.

Description
While the Clans retained the Exterminator in their Brian Caches, it proved an unpopular design as the 'Mech's role had no place in Clan combat. However, during the early Golden Century the Clans couldn't simply throw away any 'Mech due to limited resources and so Clan Jade Falcon produced this, the EXT-4Db-EC, which mounts a SLDF-spec ER Large Laser as well as four early Clan prototype ER Medium Lasers for firepower. The EXT-4Db-EC would eventually be mothballed and can only be found with bandit and Dark Caste forces in the modern era.

Description
In the 3060s, ComStar returned to the plans for the Exterminator and made use of them to create a dedicated Narc Missile Beacon design. Armed with a Narc Beacon with four tons of ammunition, the EXT-5E's high ground speed (supplemented by a MASC system) all but guarantees it can get in close and tag targets with the Narc as well as provide targets with its C3i system. However, when forced into a fight with armored opponents, all it has to defend itself is four ER Medium Lasers, which is often insufficient.
