Description
While Corsair is supposedly a generic Periphery term referring to heavy and assault class FrankenMechs cobbled together out of desperation as the Succession War era dragged on, with no specific weight or base chassis, the most successful of these are ninety-five ton brutes modeled in a generally similar style, usually marked with a COR designation. Armed with a grab-bag array of weaponry, the Corsair's primary weapons are an AC/10 and LRM-15 mounted in its right torso, supported by a trio of Medium Lasers split between its left and center torsos and a SRM-6 and Large Laser mounted in its vestigial left arm.

For close-range backup, the -5T mounts four Medium Lasers.

Armed with a grab-bag array of weaponry, the Corsair-7A's primary weapons are geared towards long-range combat, with a pair of AC/5s, a Large Laser, and a PPC for extended range engagements while a pair of Medium Lasers cover short-range defense. To defeat enemy missile fire, the COR-7A carries a quartet of Anti-Missile Systems.

Special Note: The Corsair COR-7A2 is a custom Community Content 'Mech.
Description
A sort of advanced upgrade to the pirate design, the 7A2 model mounts the traditional quad AMS, but this time the Laser models. Fitted with 'borrowed' laser weaponry, as well as a pair of reliable AC/5s for damage, its used as a sort of pirate command mech, able to slow enemies, impair their sensors and weaken their armor for either its own AC/5 knockout or an ally. The Laser AMS ensures that the nearby Mech's are protected from enemy missiles until the unit is destroyed, and while its armor is tough, the Pirate Grade XL engine makes it vulnerable once the armor is gone.

Description
Normal Corsairs are a patchwork of miscellaneous parts, but what if you made a miscellaneous collection of parts on purpose? That's where the COR-8R comes from: salvaged from a series of mechs with Endo-Steel construction, the -8R is a pirate attempt at a King Crab with a little bit of a twist. Armed with a pair of Autocannon/20s, a Large Laser, and 3 Medium Lasers, the -8R packs a hell of a wallop. Three jump jets give it unexpected mobility while double heat sinks and CASE II keep the heat and ammo under control.

Description
Corsairs, such as they are, are cobbled together death-traps at the best of times. However, this one has a bit of a pedigree to it. Originally driven by Jake Kalmar, cousin to Lori Kalmar (wife to Grayson Death Carlyle of the Grey Death Legion), the Ravager is an advanced-tech pirate war machine. Jake Kalmar used it to good effect in the now-defunct Oberon Confederation, eventually becoming a victim of his own success as he was hunted down and killed for his crimes. Ravager carries a Gauss Rifle, Ultra AC/5, Large Pulse Laser, and battery of standard Large and Medium Lasers.
