Details	One of the earliest BattleMechs, the Kyudo was built by Martinson Armaments in 2443 for the Terran Hegemony and later upgraded to the modern KY2-D-02 standard. Armed with an ER Large Laser and LRM-20 (enhanced with Artemis IV), the Kyudo was posed to be a premier line combat 'Mech for the SLDF, but unfortunately budget limitations meant that few Kyudos were properly updated to the new standard and the design was largely lost with the Star League's fall. However, in the 3050s, the reborn Terran Hegemony resurrected the design and put it into proper service, where the Kyudo proved its great worth time and again.
