| Details | This is the transforming gear for the Scorpion LAM. The avionics gear controls the mech's transformation technology and permits the mech to swap between modes easily and without trouble. The technology is fragile and heavy though, prone to breakage, which made LAMs troublesome in terms of maintanence, leading to LAMs slowly fading out of active service as more and more of them broke. However, in the 3060s, the knowledge to repair the avionics returned and LAMs began proliferating around the Inner Sphere again. <color=#ff0066>TRANSFORMS TO AIRMECH MODE: Mech will hover above the battlefield, will ignore terrain, and will move at considerably higher speeds.
