2024/10/10 - Patch v18.0.3

v18.0.3 (aka the "I'm Still Alive You Guys I Swear" patch) has been released to the installer. This patch is fairly small, mostly implementing bug fixes, but has a few small content updates, so let's get to it.

NEW MECH: The Mercury, a 20 ton Star League Defense Forces light 'Mech that founded an entire bloodline of designs, has sped into battle. This design can be found in the arsenals of ComStar, the Word of Blake, the Clans (in their second-line forces only), and the Terran Hegemony. It's also for sale at Gibson, Errai, and in the TH faction store.

NEW VARIANTS: The 331st Royal BattleMech Division has received some more variants, specifically two each Lynx, Mercury, and Talon variants, complete with the 331st-exclusive blue/orange/white paint scheme. You can buy these at Ebon's End or you can get them dynamically in combat from the 331st.

• Fixed the Argus affinity.
• Fixed the Sanctuary Mackie affinity.
• Updated SAD with a new readme and new dll to fix minor bugs.
• Great Turtle's unique torso cockpit can no longer be salvaged.
• HGN-732b removed from yet more lists that it snuck into.
• Fixed Iron Cheetah structure values.
• Fixed a typo in ComStar's mission offering text.
• Fixed a typo with the Nimble Jumper quirk.
• Fixed a typo with the Hurricane map weather (topical!).
• Slagmaiden's melee weapons now properly behave like other melee weapons.
• AES now displays that it is incompatible with Targeting Computers.
• Avatar now has properly hardwired DHS kits.
• Stormcrow EE is now deployment legal.
• Fixed a description error with half tons of Mortar smoke ammo.
• Fixed an issue with the Itsbur planetdef.

IMPORTANT: v18.0.3 is an "update" update. In this case, clear your Mods folder manually and then run the installer, it'll do the work for you.

IMPORTANT: v18.0.3 is not a save breaking update, your saves are compatible and will work fine.
