The 3rd Generation Fusion Engine is the final expression of engine technology in the Inner Sphere. With all the weight savings of the Extra-Light Fusion Engine with zero drawbacks (it doesn't extend into the side torsos), the 3rd Gen. Engine is the absolute pinnacle of what an engine is capable of being. Developed by St. Ives in response to Capellan aggression, the 3rd Gen. Engine is as good as it gets. The 3rd Gen. Engine is Community Content gear.
