The Black Knight 6B was the harder-hitting, cooler-running Star League ancestor to the standard BL-6-KNT we have today. It did everything the 6 does, but better—mostly thanks to its Double Heat Sinks.

Designed by ComStar in the lead up to the Battle of Tukayyid as one of the so-called Clanbuster refits, the BL-9-KNT is still energy-focused but carries a close-range surprise for anyone who closes with it, a mighty Hatchet. The remainder of the mech's aresenal is very much Black Knight-ish: 4 Medium Pulse Lasers, 2 Large Lasers, a Large Pulse Laser, and an ER PPC. 17 DHS try to keep the heat under control but are inadequate for the task if the pilot is aggressive with the weapons.

Description
Based on ComStar's Clanbuster Black Knight, the BL-10X-KNT is a radical departure from standard Black Knights. In the left arm is the Clanbuster's Hatchet but in the right, instead of a brace of energy weapons, the -10X carries a massive Ultra Autocannon/20. These weapons are backed by 4 Medium Pulse Lasers, making the -10X an incredible force of destruction in close-quarters combat. However, that power comes with a price: it runs a bit hot and has a fragile XL engine, meaning a critical hit to its generous 4-ton ammo bin and the mech is destroyed instantly.
