Description
The Enfield was originally designed to replace the Wyvern as an urban combat 'Mech, but the design never made it to mass production. The plans for the Enfield were lost during the Succession Wars and were recovered by the Federated Suns, finally seeing production in the 3050s. A simple field refit of the END-6Q, the -6J swaps the Large Pulse for a standard Large Laser and drops the Small Laser entirely to add 5 jump jets. The LB-10X and the Medium Lasers are retained from the -6Q. The added mobility was a hit among pilots.
Bonuses
Mech Quirk: Improved Life Support
+1 injuries resisted
Pilot Affinity: Cool Running
Adds 6 bonus heat sinking, effectively two standard heat sinks
Factions
The END-6J can be found with these forces:
- Federated Suns (Davion)
- Lyran Commonwealth (Steiner)
- Mercenaries

The Enfield was originally designed to replace the Wyvern as an urban combat 'Mech, but the design never made it to mass production. The plans for the Enfield were lost during the Succession Wars and were recovered by the Federated Suns, finally seeing production in the 3050s. Armed with a solid loadout of a LB-10X Autocannon, Large Pulse Laser, and a brace of Medium and Small Lasers, the Enfield's thick armor and CASE ensure effectiveness in any situation. The 250-rated XL engine lets the Enfield rapidly redeploy to any battlefield, ensuring the design would see heavy use.
