Description

Developed by Stefan Amaris as a wunderwaffen during the Amaris Civil War that destroyed the Star League, the Rifleman III was quickly destroyed and forgotten for centuries. However in the 3060s it was discovered that several chassis, along with plentiful parts, had been secreted away in a bunker in the Rim Worlds Republic itself and so the design came back into service for the RWR. This is the original model, the RF2-A. Armed with quad Gauss Rifles and a cutting-edge Null Signature System, the RF2-A is a deadly ambush sniper. However, it is slow, fragile, and has limited ammo, making it a niche unit in most situations.

However in the 3060s it was discovered that several chassis, along with plentiful parts, had been secreted away in a bunker in the Rim Worlds Republic itself and so the design came back into service for the RWR. This is a newly built Rifleman III, though bereft of the Null Signature System. Where the RF2-A carries quad Gauss Rifles, the RF2-B instead carries a quartet of Improved Binary Lasers for heavy ranged firepower. It also speeds up somewhat and mounts a trio of Jump Jets for maneuverability.

This is a newly constructed Rifleman III, though the RWR could not replicate the Null Signature System. Instead of the Gauss Rifles, the RF2-L mounts 8 LB-2X Autocannons with 6 tons of ammunition for extended firefights.
