Given the Com Guard's new public role as defenders of the peace and watchdogs against the Clans, ComStar decided they needed a fast response mech to hunt down and destroy Elementals. The MON-77 was made to fill that need. Armed with 6 Machine Guns and a pair of Small X-Pulse Lasers it is more than capable of shredding Elementals where they stand and its high speed lets it reposition as needed. A XL engine and Endo-Steel allow for the payload without sacrificing armor.
