Description
Designed by Norse Technologies during the Star League era as a lighter version of the Exterminator, the Spector lives up to its name with its in-built stealth technologies. Built around a 245-rated XL engine and equipped with both Chameleon Light Polarization Shield and Null-Signature System stealth tech, the Spector can rapidly close with its targets to destroy them quickly. For firepower, the Spector has a Large Laser and twin Medium Lasers. 7 jump jets guarantee it can reach any target. The original Spector was assumed extinct during the Succession Wars, though ComStar maintained a few in their arsenal.

Description
Though the original stealth tech Spector went extinct during the Succession Wars, Norse-Storm BattleMechs never lost the plans for the design even though they could not replicate the design perfectly. In 3053 Norse-Storm put the SPR-5F into production as a fast striker 'Mech since it lacks the dedicated stealth tech of the original. Armed with a Large Laser, twin Medium Lasers, and a Small Laser the Spector fulfills its role perfectly thanks to the 245-rated XL engine and Endo-Steel structure. Guardian ECM provides electronic defenses and 7 jump jets keep it mobile on any battlefield.

Description
With the success of the SPR-5F and the encouragement of Archon Katherine Steiner-Davion, Norse-Storm BattleMechs decided to open talks with the Capellan manufacturing concern Shengli Arms to secure Stealth Armor for a new Spector variant. They did secure the armor, though it meant that Shengli Arms gained the rights to produce the Spector for the Confederation. Armed with a Large Laser, a Medium Pulse Laser, and a Small Laser as well as the tradition high ground and jump speeds, the SPR-5S proved effective enough that both the Lyrans and Capellans incorporated the 'Mech into their armed forces quickly.

Description
Based on the SPR-5S, the SPR-ST is a slightly more radical refit of the design. Powered by the traditional 245-rated XL engine and still built on an Endo-Steel skeleton, the -ST drops the jump jets of the -5S in favor of a MASC system for even greater ground speed. A targeting computer powers the ER Large Laser and two ER Medium Lasers that make up the mech's firepower. The Guardian ECM-powered Stealth Armor is retained from the -5S, giving the Spector excellent defenses.
