A Pirate's Life: Aftermath

The following is a brief summary and an explanation of what requirements you need to meet in order to get the event to fire. Further details are provided but they contain spoilers. Don't read them unless you really want to know exactly what happens in the event.

Summary:

Darius once again calls you to the conference room. Apparently Roberts has contacted you with an update.

Darius once again calls you to the conference room. Apparently Roberts has contacted you about your win in the duel.

Option A - "Open communications":

The rest of the senior staff comes to attention as you walk in.

"Well done Commander! With Rezak out of the way, I can focus on turnin' the Band of the Damned profitable again. I've taken the liberty of transmittin' the nav coordinates for the Hole. Tis only fittin' ye come by and see the operation. Tis a modest system, but we'll have items o' tribute awaitin in the store on the regular."

Response: "Tribute you say? How does that work?"

"Easy, Commander. Just poke yer head into the system store and look for somethin' labeled "Pirate Tribute" or somesuch other nonsense. Pick it up and the cash is yours! We'll restock 'em over time as we come by more plunder.

Response: "Any other perks the come with being a Pirate Lord?"

"For a certitude! There's the uh, prestige! And I'll keep sendin' you leads on choice contracts as I come across 'em! Vance's custom Corsair should be waiting for you in the MechBay. Last, me ol' mate Cutter Edgewise should be joinin' you shortly. He's a bit rough aroun' the edges, but no one I'd rather have watchin' me backside. Oh! We also renamed Rezak's Hole in your honor. Should take a day or so to update the maps, though."

Result:

• Corsair COR-PL added to the mech bay
• Cutter added to the pilot roster
• The Argo can now travel to the Rezak's Hole system

Note:

• Rezak's Hole features a unique faction store that sells a variety of rare black market gear as well as the "Million C-Bill Tribute" item which gives your company a 1.5 million C-Bills and will replenish periodically
• Roberts will continue to offer you pirate contracts (X Marks The Spot and The Devil You Know) if you're still interested in plundering the Inner Sphere
