Description
Verging on a Totem 'Mech for the Clan Wolf, the Orion IIC honors General Aleksandr Kerensky, who chose the Orion as his personal BattleMech. Most Clans left the design alone out of respect but Clan Wolf decided to upgrade it, thinking Aleksandr would have approved, and have kept it in production ever since. Not a radical reworking of the design, as some Clan upgrades are, the Orion IIC replaces much of the innards and weapons of the original, while preserving its mass and aesthetics. The weapon payload is reminiscent of the original: a LRM-20 and Gauss Rifle plus a pair of ER Large Lasers give ranged power while a SRM-4 defends up close.
