Description
With a noticeable lack of OmniMechs designed in the Federated Suns, Field Marshal Duke George Hasek went over the heads of the Department of the Quartermaster and commissioned Kallon Industries to design an assault OmniMech and backed the project with his own financial resources. The resulting 'Mech is a force to be reckoned with on the modern battlefield.

Description
Intended for long range combat, the Templar A is configured to engage an enemy at long ranges. To do this, it carries an ER PPC as its primary weapon backed up by an Ultra Autocannon/10 which can fire at twice the rate of a standard autocannon. For close combat, the Templar A has a Streak SRM-6 launcher, two Medium Pulse Lasers, and for increased mobility this configuration has four jump jets, letting it jump up to one hundred and twenty meters. To protect the 'Mech from enemy electronic warfare systems, the 'Mech has a Guardian ECM Suite and to handle the 'Mech's heavy heat load, it has an additional two double heat sinks.

A workhorse configuration, the Templar B can engage an enemy at either short or long ranges. For long range combat, the Templar B carries an ER PPC. Description
A close combat configuration, the C configuration of the Templar carries a devastating LB-X Autocannon/20 as its primary weapon, which can fire both solid rounds and shotgun-like cluster rounds. Also for close range, the Templar C has five Medium Pulse Lasers and an ER Medium Laser, which can be used to devastating effect at short range. For long range defense, the Templar carries a single ER PPC. To add mobility to the 'Mech, it has four pod-mounted jump jets that let the Templar C jump up to one hundred and twenty meters. An additional heat sink is added to help handle the 'Mech's heat.

Description
Intended for long range combat, the Templar D is configured to engage an enemy at long ranges. To do this, makes use of twin Light Gauss Rifles and their incredibly long reach. However, because the Light Gauss Rifles are so focused on long range, the Templar D requires something to defend itself up close. That task falls two a pair of Large X-Pulse Lasers, which do an admirable job of shooting down any pesky lights that think to underrun the gauss rifles.

Description
Intended for long range combat, the Templar E is configured to engage an enemy at long ranges. Equipped with twin LRM-15s with Artemis IV as well as an ER PPC for even more direct firepower, the E is capable of doing extreme damage to any target at any distance. For close-range combat, it carries a meager two Medium Pulse Lasers and a Small Laser. Finally, for lance cohesion, it carries a C3 Master computer. The E configuration proved effective and dangerous and would be a Davion staple for years to come.

Description
The Templar F is designed for a closer range engagement than many of the other Templar variants. Though it does carry a Light Gauss Rifle for extreme range combat, the brace of three Medium Pulse Lasers clearly pushes it towards close range fights. A Heavy PPC and ER Medium Laser cover the middle distances while a C3 Master system provides excellent lance coordination. Finally, four Jump Jets provide unexpected mobility in a mech its size, ensuring the Templar F always has the jump on its opponents.

Description
A rare and special variant of the Templar, the TLR1-OS was redesigned around a BattleMech Sword and geared for close-range combat. An Ultra Autocannon/10, a pair of Medium Pulse Lasers, and a Small Laser back the sword up in close-range combat. THe mech's only concession to longer range combat are a pair of Large Pulse Lasers. Pilots of the -OS generally rely on the intimidation factor of the sword to keep their enemies in line.
