v2.9 has been released. The change list is relatively minor but there's some good stuff in there along with one ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL CHANGE. Included are three new mechs (Icarus, Hollander, Juggernaut), our first BTA custom Flashpoint, and various little fixes and additions like a few new weapons and some new tanks.
Additionally, BTA Custom Mechs has been updated with custom Icaruses and Hollanders.
v2.9 is a clear and reinstall update, you MUST clear and reinstall BTA. Back up your saves (but read below, this is important).

Save locations have changed. Saves are no longer in Mods/Saves but are in BATTLETECH/BTASaves. You must manually create this folder or start the game and let the game do it for you, then you must move your saves into BTASaves manually. To do this, follow these steps:
- Navigate to BATTLETECH.
- Create a new folder, name it BTASaves.
- Copy the contents on Mods/Saves into BTASaves.
- Start the game. If you did it right, your saves will be recognized.
