Description
The Stalker 3F mounts a ridiculous amount of weaponry-even for an assault 'Mech. It is also notable for its incredibly poor heat management, which is the cost it pays for such amazing damage output. Powerful, but to be used wisely.

Description
In the aftermath of the Sanctuary Alliance invasion of the Taurian Concordat, the Treaty of Micros stipulated that the Sanctuary Alliance would assist in replenishing the depleted Taurian Defense Force. To that end, the Alliance produced a number of field refits of existing TDF designs, such as the Stalker. Armed with all Sanctuary-spec weaponry, including two each Large Electro-Lasers, VRM-12s, and DRM-6s, as well as a quartet of Medium Electro-Lasers, the Stalker STK-3S is a powerful addition to the TDF's armory.

Description
Created for the Star League's Royal regiments, the Stalker-3Fb is much like its lesser kin: a walking death machine. It carries a similar payload but makes use of lostech double heat sinks to cool down much more effectively, letting it fire continuously much longer than a normal Stalker-3F.

Description
A very rare Kuritan variant, the STK-3Fk is a Star League-era upgrade of the STK-3F. It upgrades the Stalker to 18 double heat sinks while swapping out the SRM-6s for a quartet of Streak SRM-2s and adding Artemis IV to the LRM-10 launchers. The Large and Medium Lasers are retained without change. The -3Fk was a popular variant among the DCMS and a few rare examples remain in service today.

Description
A rebuild of the original 3F, this Stalker uses an XL engine and Gyro, together with a composite skeleton to hardwire 5 prototype improved jumpjets to the chassis. In an effort to mimic the performance of the original’s Star-League Era tracking system, a four-ton target computer is hardwired. It mounts a devastating battery of two ER Large Lasers, four ER Medium Lasers, and 18 Streak MML tubes gives it the same firepower as the original at all ranges, A combination of exchangers, prototype DHS, and Laser Insulators lets its pilot fire near continuously, and its 16 tons of Ferro-Antipierce Armor ensure maximum survivability.

Description
The skunkworks of Periphery Armory, Inc has done it again, they've made the Stalker better in every way than its original incarnation! This, the STK-3PA, comes with so much absurd firepower that even the mighty Atlas trembles in fear. A pair of Reloading Rocket Launcher-40s do the heavy work while a pair of Inferno Rocket Launcher-20s keep the target unable to fight back. For ranged firepower, a pair of little-loved but highly effective Binary Laser Cannons put in serious work. Periphery Armory, Inc: proving that the oldies are still goodies!

Description
One of the oldest continually produced assault mechs in history, the Stalker has an extended and excellent service life. Even in the Periphery, Stalkers provide reliable and effective service. The -3PAM is one such design. Armed with two Large Lasers and 4 Medium Lasers for ammo-free firepower, as well as two Gyrojet-20s for ranged bombardment, the -3PAM is simple and effective. Up close, two RL-20s with attached ammo feeds provide continual firepower. The STK-3PAM proved a success and saw wide proliferation through the Periphery.

Description
An upgrade originating from the Free Worlds League, the 5M variant of the Stalker was introduced using moderate amounts of Star League technology. Most of the weaponry was retained but both large lasers were removed for a single ER Large Laser placed in the 'Mech's centerline and a Narc Missile Beacon in the left torso, allowing the Stalker to tag enemy units with a homing beacon. The seventeen double heat sinks of the 5M afford it far greater heat efficiency than the twenty single heat sinks of previous models and an additional ton of armor was added for survivability. Unfortunately the designers of the new 5M dismissed the inclusion of CASE, a factor which led directly to the deaths of several Stalkers.

Description
Irian's attempt to make up for the shortcomings of the 5M, the 6M introduced in 3062 drops the SRMs entirely, upgrades the LRMs to 15-tube racks with integral Artemis IV FCS, and upgrades the lasers to ER versions, mounting a fifth medium. Most importantly, the LRM magazines are now protected with CASE.

Description
The rebirth of the Terran Hegemony brought with it a need for a restarted military sector among the core worlds of the Inner Sphere. To meet the new Hegemony's demand for material, the various corporations of the Inner Sphere got right to work on new variants for the Hegemony's war machine. One such design is the STK-6R, a heavy weapons platform designed with only one task in mind: carrying the HISC Hyper Laser into battle. Armed with two of the behemoth weapons, as well as an incredible bounty of heat management gear and a targeting computer, the -6R is more than capable of blasting apart anything in one strike.

Description
The 7D Stalker introduced by the Federated Suns in 3062 is built on a standard chassis and engine for rugged durability and carries a primarily energy arsenal. Its two primary weapons are two ER PPCs, giving the 7D a striking distance out to just under seven hundred meters. The 'Mech is also armed with four Medium Pulse Lasers for close combat, which are backed up by two Streak SRM-4 launchers to take advantage of any weak points in an enemy's armor. The lasers and ER PPCs are all linked to an advanced Targeting Computer, which gives the 7D extreme accuracy.

Description
The 7L Stalker is a Capellan test bed platform for new technologies developed for use by the CCAF. Departing from traditional Stalker configurations of the past, the 7L carries the volatile but potent Hypervelocity Class 10 Autocannon as its main gun. A trio of the new Multi-Missile Launcher 9-racks supplements the punching power of the HVAC, and also allows the Stalker to employ specialty ammunition as well as brawl when necessary.

Description
Irian Technologies, never happy with their prior Stalker designs, created this, the Stalker-8X, to try and make the old chassis more relevant on the modern battlefield. Carrying the quad Mediums and dual LRM-10s of the traditional Stalker, the -8X takes a twist on the mech by carrying an Ultra Autocannon/10 for close range brawling after the enemy closes. For defense, 15.5 tons of armor and an Angel ECM Suite protect the mech. A Bloodhound Active Probe gives it some sensor utility while 14 double heat sinks and a Coolant Pod keep the mech cold in all but the most taxing of battles.

Description
Introduced by the Lyran Alliance in the 3060s, the STK-8S is built around a new Light Fusion Engine which frees up some tonnage for heavier weapons. The 8S is armed with two ER PPCs for long-range combat. When it closes with an enemy it can bring its new Heavy Gauss Rifle to bear at intermediate to short ranges. Finally, for short range combat, the 8S carries two Medium Pulse Lasers and two ER Medium Lasers.

Description
Colonel J. Elliot Jamison of the Wolf's Dragoons was reknown as a crack Stalker pilot. So much so that imitators of his personal ride, Misery, appeared over time in the arenas of the Inner Sphere. Misery was said to mount a mixed loadout of a Gauss Rifle and triple Large Lasers for ranged combat with a pair of Medium Lasers and a SRM-6 for up close work. The Misery copycats proved able, though none could match Jamison's personal skill, and they proliferated throughout the Inner Sphere's gladiatorial circuits.
