Details	Originally intended as an artillery mech, the Helepolis served ably in that role for centuries in the Terran Hegemony Armed Forces. However, eventually the chassis was repurposed for other experimental purposes, one of which led to the HEP-2L. The -2L increased the engine size to a 300-rated XL Engine and used this speed and free space to equip a powerful direct-fire loadout of quad ER Large Lasers. For close-range backup, the -2L can call upon 18 SRM tubes spread across the torsos. 18 Double Heat Sinks are woefully inadequate but do their best.
