DetailsDesigned by the ever budget-conscious Periphery, the Howitzer is a step between traditional autocannons and the full-scale artillery pieces such as the Thumper or Sniper. Developed as a long-range direct-fire AoE capable bombardment weapon, the Howitzer saw quick acceptance in the Periphery as an almost 1-to-1 replacement for heavier autocannons. Able to fire multiple types of munitions, the Howitzer proved a versatile and effective weapon, though not a particularly practical one for precision combat.
